David was born in Fort Yates, ND and attended primary school on Standing Rock. He received his GED in Bismarck and attended United Tribes Technical College where he studied carpentry. David was close to his grandma, Agatha Fool Bear, who taught him about the days of old. He was a grass dancer and singer and also enjoyed hunting and was a profound artist. David enjoyed cookouts with his family. He spent his final days close to his mother, Deborah Two Bears, and his brother, Clint Fool Bear. Before his passing, David was reconnecting to his culture and traditional ways, earning his Indian name being a helper, thanks to Ron Lebeau. David had many friends and will be missed dearly.
David is survived by his five children, Tia Eagle, Tàtè Win Hart, Juliette Skinner, David Skinner, and Mahto Skinner; his mother, Deborah Two Bears; brother, Clint “Seige” Fool Bear and his children, Tyrus Cadotte and his children; sister, Angel Cadotte and her children; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
David was preceded in death by his father, Clint Fool Bear; sister, Miranda Fool Bear; grandparents, Chuck and Agatha Fool Bear and William and Matilda Two Bears; and many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
