David Lesley Foster, 91, peacefully passed away surrounded by family, on June 10, 2025 at his home in Adamsville, TN. David is the son of the late Hubert and Cora Durham Foster born on January 24, 1934.
He was a member of the Love and Truth Church in Adamsville, TN. David was a member of the class of 1952 at Adamsville High School. He was a proud retiree of the Local 798 Union in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a member of the Adamsville Masonic Lodge.
David is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, David Jerome and Jeffery Paul Foster; his brother, James Foster; three sisters-in-law, Freeda Foster, Bobbie Briley and Lanette Holloway; five brothers-in-law, Roy Holloway, Donny Holloway, Ray Collier Sr., Gene Phillips, and Jimmy Joe Briley.
David is survived by his wife, Edith Foster; three sons and their wives, Mark and Marsha Foster of Fairhope, AL, Marty and Kelly Foster of Adamsville, TN, Robbie and Laura Foster of Henderson, NV; two grandsons and their wives, Wesley and Leigh Ann Foster of Adamsville, TN, Jessy and Laura Foster of Adamsville, TN; two granddaughters and their husbands, Jessica and Chris Roe of Mobile, AL, Kathryn and Parker Hutcherson of Austin, TX; three great grandchildren, Naylor Wesley Foster, Rhodes Dylan Foster and Finn Raymond Foster all of Adamsville, TN; two step granddaughters, Brittney and Natalie Taccone of Boston, MA; seven nieces, Zondra Hardin, Anita Burks, Kandy McGuire, Elaine Conaway, Lisa Wright, Christy Spencer, Carol Collier; four nephews, Terry Holloway, Ray Collier Jr, Jeremy Rickman, Mike Pinkos; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers: Terry Holloway, Ray Collier Jr., Brandon Burks, Chris Pyron, Tim Seaton, Jackie Hamm, David Baker, and Harold Boswell.
