David Charles Francetic, 75 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on July 26, 2024, after a prolonged 17 year battle with cancer. Born in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania to Matthew and Mary Francetic, David served his country honorably as an air traffic controller in the United States Air Force for four years. His love of aviation was complemented by his passion for writing and reading. Through his exceptional work as a development service specialist for Maricopa County, David left a lasting impact on his community, including naming several streets. David is survived by his son, Geoffrey (Caryn), daughter, Carolyn, and three grandchildren.
A committal service will take place Friday, August 9th at 9:30 am, under the Ramada at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, 23015 Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
