David Jason Fuchs, 61, formerly of Queens, NY and Tamiment, PA, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at his home in Chattanooga, TN.

Born on June 5, 1964, in New York, NY, David was the son of the late Harold and Helen Fuchs (née Ritterman). Known as "Dave" to his friends and family, he medically retired in 2019 after nearly 35 years of dedicated work in the commercial construction and restoration industry throughout the New York City metropolitan area. His work ethic, integrity, and commitment earned him the respect of thousands of colleagues over the course of his career.

Dave was deeply devoted to his family and loved them unconditionally. He spent his life ensuring their well-being, especially his children, always putting their needs above his own.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Fuchs; his son, Brett Fuchs, and daughter-in-law, Kim Davison; his canine daughter, Layla Fuchs; his former spouse, Lori Fuchs; his mother-in-law, Barbara Frenkel; his brother, Ronald Fuchs, sister-in-law, Georgianna Esposito Fuchs, and nephew, Joseph Fuchs; his brother, Gary Leunis; his uncle and aunt, Michael Ritterman and Carolyn Ritterman; and countless lifelong friends and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to one of the following organizations:
