Gastonia – Mr. David Graham Fuller, Sr., 64 passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

David was born on July 1, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, a son of the late Bobby Glenn Fuller, Sr. and Doris L. Morrison. He was owner and operator of Dave's Auto and Marine Upholstery. David attended City Church in Gastonia. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy during the Iranian Crisis and was a licensed aviation machinist. A gifted, self-taught engineer, David was known for his ingenuity and ability to solve problems through hands-on innovation. He deeply loved his grandchildren and his devoted dog Neavi, who was a constant companion in his daily life. David found joy in the outdoors riding mountain bikes with his brother Steve, working with his tractor, kayaking, and playing his guitar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Constance Serena Fuller and a sister, Paula Fuller Petty.

Survivors include his daughter, Doris Gloria Fuller Gammon (Michael) of Cary; two sons, David Fuller, II (Jessie) of Rockville, MD; Michael Fuller of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren, Logan Fuller, Samuel Gammon, Gloria Gammon, Patrick Gammon, Declan Fuller and Celeste Fuller; a sister, Debbie Fuller Carter (Fred) of Reidsville; two brothers, Bobby Fuller (Lucinda) of Bessemer City; Steve Fuller (Sue) of Dallas; a half-sister, Crystal Fuller Sanderson of Charlotte and a half-brother, Graham Glenn Fuller of Reidsville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Monday, February 9, 2026 at City Church in Gastonia. At other times the family will be at the home of Bobby and Lucinda Fuller.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Monday, February 9, 2026 at City Church in Gastonia with Pastor Steve Black officiating.

Burial, with military honors, will be at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Memorials may be made in David's memory to the donor's favorite charity or a charity near to David's heart, such as Compassion International or the US VA Center for Development and Civic Engagement.
