David F. Gallant, 60, of Marion passed away on Friday November 14, 2025, at Presidential Post Acute in Marion with his daughter by his side, following a lengthy illness. David was born May 25, 1965, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late David Gallant and Karyl (Campbell) Akers who survives in Richwood, Ohio. In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by son David “Little Davey” Gallant; stepfather Keith Akers; and brothers Kenneth Gallant and Keith Akers Sr.
David is also survived by daughter Nichole (Justin Cooper) Gallant of Marion; former wife Della Heacock; grandchildren Heavenly, K-Lynn, and Wynter Holsinger; and Triniti Cooper; sister Penny (Rick) Rees; and sister in laws Teresa Akers and Laura Gallant.
David graduated from River Valley High School and drove truck over the road. He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. David also loved the band KISS.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Presidential Post Acute and Tranquility Hospice for their wonderful care.
There will be no public services at this time, and the staff of Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.cremationservicesofohio.com
