David W. Gant, 84, of Mathias, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his home.
Born on May 23, 1939 in Osbornsville, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles Gant and Elizabeth (Halmuth) Gant.
David served in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Gemini Plumbing. David was a lifelong musician and was known for his sparking personality.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia S. Gant, his children, Elizabeth D. Burkhart of Mathias, WV, Johana G. Gant of Melbourne, Florida, John H. Gant of Wardensville, WV, Jesse D. Gant of Mathias, WV, a sister, Janet Roche of Florida and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Baker, WV.

When we lived in Lakehurst, Ma would have pool parties and they Dave, Pat, Billy and others would come over. What fun! I know neighbors wanted to peek through fence and watch. Dave came to Arkansas for a while. I learned a lot from him. And few cords on guitar was one.
We all loved Dave. The Marty's send their condolences
