David Ray Garrett

David Ray Garrett, age 55, of Foley, AL went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2025. David was born November 4, 1969. He was a native of Hueytown, AL where he grew up and spent the early part of his life. His adult life led him to the Gulf Coast where he made a life and home in Foley, AL.
He was a loving husband to his wife Tracy, amazing stepfather and brother. He was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. He was very talented and spent his spare time refurbishing old juke boxes, slot machines and arcade games. He had a love/hate relationship with poker- as he hated to lose, but loved his local tournament poker.
David was preceded in death by his parents Donald Ray Garrett and Billie Ruth Brown Stewart. One niece Mackenzie Garrett.
He is survived by his loving wife Tracy Wandry Garrett, his step-daughter Haley Wandry and his future son in law Keller Davis. His sister Donna Currie (Dan), his sister Cindi Garrett Wren (Randy), along with a host of nieces and nephews and extended family. He also leaves behind his loyal companions Dobie & Yoshi.
As requested and to honor David's wishes there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
