David Geesling Obituary

David Wain Geesling 1954-2023 David Wain Geesling went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 19, 2023. David was born on January 28, 1954, in Denison, Texas, to Bobby Ray and Betty (Graham-Blancett) Geesling. He grew up in Denison and worked for his dad and several others as a painter for many years. David joined the Navy for a brief time and was Honorably Discharged. In 1989 David moved to California and met his wife of 31 years, Laura Springer-Geesling. They moved to the Texoma area in 2015 to be closer to family, they settled in Durant, Oklahoma. David was also a Mason and member of the Billie Mosse Lodge 1152 in Denison. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jamie Geesling and brother Ray Geesling. David leaves behind his beloved wife Laura; sons Jonathan Geesling (Wendy) and Joseph Geesling, daughter Angela Jones (Tyler); brother Ronny Geesling, sisters Dana Smith (William) and Leisa Gailey. He was PawPaw to Jonathan, Ryan, Trent and Taylor Geesling, Harper and Riley Jones, great grandchildren Cora and Olivia Geesling. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Service for David will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 N. TX-91, in Denison. Family and friends will gather to visit from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2033, at Fisher Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, 604 W. Main St, Denison, TX.
