Pikeville- David Lloyd George, 84, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 3, 2025. Born in Muskegon, MI, on August 6, 1941, he was son to the late Charles George and Leona Crisple George.
David possessed a deep and abiding passion for music, which truly defined his life. Wherever he went, he sought to share the joy of music with others, ensuring that all who listened were uplifted by its message. Alongside his devoted wife, Judy, David traveled to many churches where they shared the gospel through song and faithfully proclaimed God's word. Their ministry also reached nursing homes, where they offered comfort and encouragement to residents through heartfelt music and fellowship.
Above all, David held his family most dear. He found profound joy in the time spent with his children and grandchildren, cherishing every shared moment and memory. His unwavering devotion to both his Lord and his family formed the foundation of his life and stands as an enduring testament to the strength of his faith and the depth of his love.
David proudly served his country in the United States Navy, honoring his nation with steadfast dedication and service marked by integrity and devotion.
David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy Whaley George; his children, Joy Lippo and husband, Donald, Star George, Deon Glorios and wife, Alison, Shane Dove and wife, Marie, Cameron George and Denise Spence and husband, Dallas, Holly Eve; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and his brothers, James and Charles George.
