David Gerloff Obituary
He is survived by his sisters Diann Taylor, Debbie Malatek, Rona Hester Beck and husband Glenn, Debbie Charles and Freida Haley; brother Arlon Hester and wife Theresa; step-mother Elizabeth Gerloff; aunt Mary DeLoach; special cousins Gary DeLoach and Nicole Schroeder. He will always be remembered as a hard worker and amazing friend to Tammy Oliver, Roy Tobin, Carolyn Tobin, Marie Tobin and Mike Calhoun.
He was preceded in death by his mother Edith Mae Hester, stepfather Winson E. Hester, father David Roy Gerloff,Sr., grandparents J.T. and Bertha DeLoach, Roy and Freida Gerloff and uncle Gordon DeLoach.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Eastside Baptist Church with Reverend Robert Ramirez officiating. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of David, please visit our floral store.

Here in Austin, Texas, Dave has been a part of our family for the past 20 years. He was a multi-talented master. Nothing was beyond his ability to fix. Dave became a member of my family and was incredibly loyal to us. Dave's dedication to our family is something we will always treasure. We will miss him terribly. We love you. RIP
