David "Hinky" Denver Giauque 67, of Brinkhaven, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Monday December 1, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday December 8th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Mike Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Wolfe Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Stillwell, Ohio. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday December 7th at the funeral home. David's family invites you to wear your favorite racing and golf attire for calling hours.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to West Holmes FFA.

David was born May 9, 1958, in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Judith (Joy) Giauque Jr. He married Barbara Mohler on March 31, 1978, and sh e preceded him in death on July 6, 2018. David was a truck driver for over 50 years retiring in October of 2024. He enjoyed hunting, horseshoe pitching, softball, racing and golfing. He looked forward to his annual golfing trip to Myrtle Beach with his friends. David was a volunteer firefighter for Killbuck and Richland Township for many years. He was a hard worker, always working or fixing things.

David is survived by his two sons, Benjamin (Kristen) Giauque and Brian (Bobbi) Giauque; grandchildren Landon, Emma, and Ava Giauque, Brittany (Nick) Phillips, Joseph (Trinity) Beckett, and Steven Giauque; four great grandchildren and 2 more on the way; mother Judith Wilson; sisters Sharon Gilley, Karen (Chris) Nienhuis, Pam (Tim) Conn, Darletta Giauque, and Debbie (Nate) Bell; numerous nieces and nephews and brother-in-law William Mohler.

In addition to his wife Barb, he was preceded in death by his father and his stepmother Dollie Giauque and niece Elizabeth Smith.
