David Glodowski Obituary
Born to eternal life on June 5th 2023 at the age of 69. Beloved dad of Dawn Smith, Michael (Jamie) Glodowski, Laura (Christopher) Meller and Renee (David) Letkiewicz. Proud grandpa of Madeline and Owen Smith, Jacob and Emerson Glodowski, Danica and Xavier Meller and Marissa, Clara, and Benjamin Letkiewicz. Brother of James Glodowski, Christine (Terry) Magno, Annette (Ken) Gehl, the late Thomas (Carrol) Glodowski, and the late Patricia Glodowski. Dear son of the late Julius and Leona (nee Kudla) Glodowski. Further survived by other family and friends.
David retired from the City of Milwaukee Police Department after 26 years of service. He was free spirited, had many hobbies and loved the outdoors. He could most often be found hunting or fishing, playing a game of golf, at the alley bowling or finding treasures while antiquing.
Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel, on Friday, June 9 from 10 AM to 12 PM. Service at 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwestern Memorial Foundation, PO Box 734985, Chicago, Illinois 60673-4985. Please make checks payable to "Northwestern Memorial Foundation" and include David Glodowski in the memo line. Donations can also be made online at http://foundation.nm.org/ or over the phone at (833) 443-8663. Your gift will support the work of Dr. Ian Cohen at Lake Forest Hospital.

My sincere condolences to David Glodowski family on his recent passing.
I worked with Dave on several occasions on the late shift as a rookie just out of the academy. Dave was a very decent and funny person to work with but he was also a good teacher to the young fresh recruits coming out of the academy. Those who listened to Dave and his expertise on urban policing made it thru LE life with very little setbacks.
Dave is now on a new journey and may he rest in peace as he rises up into the heavens to be with family members and friends that have gone before him. When Dave reaches his destination, he will be accepted with open arms.
May the Glodowski family lean on each other for comfort & compassion as you struggle with Dave´s early departure.
May he rest in peace after serving his community as a guardian of our streets in the City of Milwaukee. Dave was respected by all his co-worker and we always enjoyed Dave´s humor at work. He was good guy with a good heart.
