Richard J Glodowski

Richard "Pint" J. Glodowski, of Rosholt, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 2, 2025, at Stevens Point Health Services, at the age of 86.
Richard was born September 26, 1939, in Rosholt, WI; son of the late Phillip and Cecelia (Sherfinski) Glodowski. He grew up in the area where he attended local schools.
Richard was no stranger to hard work and spent his life working on farms, driving tractor and other equipment for local farmers. Every week, Richard and his niece would take drives out in the countryside where they tried to "get lost" and take in the beautiful farmland, hoping to get a glimpse of tractors working in the fields. He was always surprised to not see people sitting outside on their front porch.
Richard truly loved the simple life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball and was an avid Brewers fan. He loved playing Bingo and was playfully known as "King Richard". He was a caring man with a big heart who loved animals; especially cats.
Richard is survived by his brother, James Glodowski; a sister-in-law, Pat Glodowski; and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Cecelia; a sister, Bernice (Franklin) Domine; three brothers, Dennis (Beverly), Frank, and Jerome Glodowski; and a sister-in-law, Jean Glodowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at St. Adalbert Parish - 3315 St. Adalbert Road, Rosholt, WI. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert's Parish Cemetery.
