David J. "DJ" Gnipp Jr.

On Thursday, March 5, 2026, age 45, of Shaler Twp, Son of Lynne (Dale) Fitzpatrick and David J. Gnipp Sr. Brother of Jennifer (Jonathan) Majernik. Step-Brother of Kristen (Michael) Stoltz, Bryan Fitzpatrick, and Kelli Belmont. Uncle of Carlee, Carter, and Cassie Majernik, Skyler, and Kaleb Stoltz. Friends received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc., 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 10 AM St. Matthew's Parish, Holy Spirit Church. DJ was a graduate of Shaler Area High School, class of 1999. He also graduated from Triangle Tech, where he learned to become an electrician. He had a passion for the outdoors and adventure, enjoying snowboarding, camping, and fishing, especially spending time at Bear Run Campground. DJ also loved sports, playing deck hockey and snowboarding whenever he had the chance. In his downtime, he enjoyed playing video games and watching superhero movies, with Superman and Batman among his favorites. Known for his kind heart, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be remembered as a devoted grandson, son, and brother who meant so much to his family.
