James E. Sees, Unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at his home in Etna. Jimmy was the son of Carol Ann (Haider) and the late Joseph S. Sees. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings: Lisa Kunz, Joseph A. Sees (Christina), Richard M. Sees, Lori Ann Brown (David Glabb), Lynn Banker-Burns (Michael), and Lara Heather Sees-Schob (Brian). He was fun and loveable “Uncle Jimmy” to 13 nieces and nephews, 12 great-nieces and nephews, and was also a proud Godfather.

At the age of 5, Jimmy suffered a traumatic brain injury and fought his way back, having to learn to talk and walk again. Jimmy attended D.T. Watson School and graduated from Shaler Area High School in 1984.

Jimmy loved fishing and cooking. If you were lucky enough to have his signature beefaroni, you knew that you were special. Jimmy took pride in his landscaping and loved to cut grass and plant flowers. If you were from Etna, you knew Jimmy and saw him during the wintertime in years past shoveling people’s sidewalks or cleaning off their cars without being asked. Jimmy never let being disabled hold him back from anything in life. He was always there to lend a hand to friends, family and even strangers. The words “I can’t” were not part of his vocabulary. He never complained about any type of struggle he faced; he just kept on going.

Above all, Jimmy loved his family. He would give you the shirt off his back, or his very last dollar if it would help someone. We truly were lucky to have him as our brother, as he had the best laugh and the biggest heart. Jimmy, you were loved and you will be missed.

Family and Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at ALL SAINTS CHURCH, 19 Wilson St. Etna, PA 15223, with Fr. James Gretz officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Internment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Sharpshill.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jimmy’s name to the Easterseals of Western and Central Pennsylvania (https://wcpenna.easterseals.com/).
