David Wayne "Dave" Gould

1957 - 2026

David Wayne "Dave" Gould, 68, of Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2026. Born on May 22, 1957, in Stubenville, Ohio, Dave lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a deep connection to his community.

Dave's journey began in Stubenville, where he was born to Wayne and Zita Gould. He carried the lessons of his upbringing with him throughout his life and often credited his education to the "school of hard knocks." A man of many talents and trades, Dave built a career that spanned several industries. He worked as a pipe fitter, crane operator, construction worker, electrical testing technician, and plumber before dedicating the last 28 years of his professional life to the retail tobacco business. His work ethic and versatility were admired by those who knew him.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Jodi Morgano Gould; his children Jeremy Michael & Sunny Gould, John Walter & Stephanie Gould, and Zita Roxanne & Brian Wunderlich; and his grandchildren Wesson, Malachi, Eli, Ezekiel,

Zita JoAnn, Sephora, and Dakota. He also leaves behind his brother Thomas Edward Gould. Dave was predeceased by his parents Wayne and Zita Gould and his grandson Bradley Gould.

Dave's love for life extended beyond his family to include a passion for riding motorcycles and taking vacations with loved ones. A true patriot at heart and an active member of his community, he cherished sharing stories that brought people together. His faith as a Christian man guided him throughout his life and served as a foundation for the relationships he built. Known for being close to all of his children and grandchildren as well as being a father figure and brother to many beyond his immediate family circle, Dave's warmth touched countless lives.

May David Wayne "Dave" Gould's memory bring comfort to those who knew him. His legacy of love for family and friends will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. A Memorial Service will be held on February 28, 2026, at 11 AM at Wild Ride Ministries 20842 US Hwy 290 W.
