David Granato Obituary
David Granato, 86, of Coal Center, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 at his home. Born March 26, 1939 in Donora, PA he was the son of the late Albert F. and Alma Linoman Granato. A resident of Coal Center for the past 57 years, Mr. Granato was a member of the H.O.PE. Center Church, Belle Vernon, was a retired Locomotive Engineer for Norfolk Southern RR. David was a member of the Italian Club, Charleroi, enjoyed doing his crossword puzzles, building puzzles and had a strong faith always reading his Bible.
He is survived by his three children Pamela McClelland of Coal Center, Robin & Mark Marchesini of Belle Vernon, Richard Granato of Coal Center; seven grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a sister Shelia Sakalik of Rostraver Twp. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Hussar Granato, son David Granato, two brothers Ronald Granato, Albert Granato and two sisters Alma Jean Ramsdell and Naoni Butchko.
Funeral service will be private for the family. David’s funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
