Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, December 21st, 2023, at 12:30 pm. Interment Oheb Shalom Memorial Park. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore or House of Ruth. The family will be in mourning at Suburban Country Club, 7600 Park Heights Avenue, Pikesville, Maryland 21208, immediately following interment, followed by a shiva service on Thursday evening, beginning at 6pm at 3801 Canterbury Road, Apt. 808, Baltimore, MD 21218, and continuing on Friday, beginning at noon.

How elegant "Spud" was his cane, but along with that came his wicked sense of humor. You never knew whether to be subdued or laugh. He will be missed.

It was my pleasure to have worked with David for 15 years as his personal assistant. I have wonderful memories of funny chats over the breakfast table as I visited him in the morning hours to do our weekly business. His kindness will never be forgotten. Peace be with you David. My deepest condolences to David´s family and to Joyce Ann.

Spud was a close friend for more than 3 decades. His wife Harriett & he were founding members of the Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease. Spud & I played a lot of golf together. He had an engaging and mischievous sense of humor. I will miss his wise counsel & his perspective on sports & life. R.I.P. Spud.
