David G. Guyse, age 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away on January 3, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Services for David are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Father Jerome Patric will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church. Burial will be held at Good Sheperd Mausoleum in Wisconsin Rapids at a later date.
David was born on March 28, 1937 in Rochester, MN to Fredrick and Ruth (Stevens) Guyse. He was united in marriage to Noreen (Burns) Guyse on July 25, 1959 in Green Bay, WI.
David worked for over 30 years as a customer support engineer at IBM in Rochester. He served his country as a member of the United States Army.
He loved spending time in the woods and passed down the love of hunting to his children. He also enjoyed playing cribbage, gardening, and wintering with Noreen in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife: Noreen; children: Michael (Maria) Guyse of Big Lake, MN, Kathleen (Robert) Mather of Appleton, WI, Thomas (Sheri) Guyse of Lyndon Station, WI, and Craig Guyse of East Troy, WI; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister: Mary House of Rochester, MN.
David was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Linda, Patricia, Margaret, John, and Joseph.
