We are gathered here to celebrate the life of Kathleen M. Bouchard, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, who was born in Ashland, WI, on October 27, 1948. A lifelong resident of Wisconsin, Kathleen spent her early years in Ashland, WI and after she married Michael Bouchard on October 26, 1968, they moved to Wisconsin Rapids and made that their home. She was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience, possessing an unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Kathleen was a homemaker, creating a warm and inviting environment that reflected her nurturing spirit.

Kathleen was a woman who cherished the simple pleasures of life. As an avid reader, she found joy and solace in the pages of her favorite books. Her attempts at golfing with friends offered many moments of laughter and camaraderie, reminding us all to embrace life's imperfections. She also had a great love of sports. she was a huge Green Bay Packers fan in particular but also didn't miss her Wisconsin Badgers or Milwaukee Brewers games. She also loved to watch her grandkids in their various sports and extracurriculars. Everyting including basketball, hockey, figure skating, football, soccer, cheerleading and dance.

Above all else, Kathleen loved spending time with her family and friends. Her love for her beloved dog Millie was a testament to her compassionate and caring nature. She was also a generous supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital, reflecting her innate desire to help and nurture others.

Kathleen is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Leigh) and Edward (Missy) Bouchard; her grandchildren, Waylon (Amanda), Josie, Ari, Anna, and Nathan Bouchard, and her brother, Gordie Gilbertson. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elsie Gilbertson; Her husband Mike on October 13, 2014; her infant daughter, Carrie Lynn Bouchard, and her sister-in-law, Judy Gilbertson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 9:30am CST at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, 54494. A memorial service will follow at the same venue at 11:00am CST.

Also, in the spring of 2026 a Celebration of Kathleen's Life will be held in Ashland, Wisconsin, times will be updated when they area made available.
