Nicholas Kleifgen Obituary
Nicholas was born July 23, 1944, in Pittsville, Wisconsin to Nicholas and Beatrice (Stenerson) Kleifgen. He attended Maryheart High School and transferred to Pittsville High School where he graduated in 1962.
Following high school, he worked for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation until his retirement. He was united in marriage to Margarette Nelson in 1967 which ended in divorce. He married Barbara Moes in 1992.
Nicholas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Traveling to his grandchildren's school and sporting events were among his greatest pleasures. He found joy on the golf course, loved to travel, and was especially fond of cooking for those he cared about.
Nicholas is survived by his wife Barbara; children: Nicholas Kleifgen, Keri (Noah) Moore, and Chad (Kristin) Kleifgen; stepchildren: Rachel Courchaine (Bob Baker), and John Moes (Holly Robbins); grandchildren: Tyler Kleifgen, Makenzie Kleifgen, and Shyanne Vandeberg; sister, Martha (Thomas) Cash; nieces: Nicole Cash, and Jodi Anderson; and nephew, Dale Anderson. He is also survived by Damien, Savanna, and Brody who he loved as his own grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Beatrice (Stenerson) Kleifgen and his brother-in-law and sister, Lester & Virginia (Kleifgen) Anderson
Following Nicholas's wishes, no services will be held.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

I have great memories of exploring New York City together and getting to know Nick all those years ago. In resent years I enjoyed my visits with him at home. He will be missed by all. Barb, my heart goes out to you and your family.
