David Hale was called home on July 7th, 2025. He passed at home, suddenly, after battling health issues.
David was born in August 21, 1958 in Farmington, ME, to Francis Hale and Joan (Weymouth/Hale) Clough. He spent much of his childhood on his grandparents' farm in Wilton, ME. He attended schools in Farmington and Waterville, ME. He played football and hockey at Waterville High School, and graduated from Waterville High School in 1976. David joined the U.S. Army after high school. After the army he moved to Jackman, ME and met and married Danielle (Morin) Hale and had three sons. He worked in the woods most of his adult life. First, cutting wood, then driving trucks hauling wood products. Music was a huge part of his life. He played guitar in several bands over the years. Most notably "Cherokee ". The band had great success and won awards in Maine and Las Vegas. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities. He touched many lives in many ways, and will be remembered and missed by many.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter Harper Hale. He is survived by his brother Daniel Hale and his wife Dorothy of Anson, ME. His brother Fletcher and his wife Jessie of Winn, ME. His sister Tawnya Clough of Farmington, ME. His son Jacob Hale of Jackman, ME. His son Abram Hale and his wife Deanne of Fairfield, ME. His son Noah and his wife Barbara of the West Forks, ME. Kenny and Zander Hale of Madison, ME. He had 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also 4 nephews, and extended family and friends. RIP Dad. We love you and will miss you.
