David Michael Hall was born on April 3, 1948 to Richard and Evelyn Hall in Visalia, California. His younger sister, Janet (Hall) Woodward was born 15 months later. David attended high school at Mount Whitney and attended Fresno State University. He met his wife Jeanette (Wells) Hall when they were very young children. They grew up near each other and their parents were friends. On his fifth birthday, David chose little Jeanette to be his wife in a game of "Farmer in the Dell." David and Jeanette started dating in high school and were officially married on April 6, 1968. David began working in the title insurance industry in 1969. He worked in the title industry for his entire career as a title searcher, title officer, office manager, regional manager, underwriter, and auditor. David was a proud provider for his family and greatly enjoyed the intellectual challenges of his work. David loved music and could play many instruments, including the trumpet, the french horn, and his favorite: the guitar. David began singing with Bruce Lamb, with whom he shared a lifelong friendship and love of music, in 1975. They formed a group called "Sonshine" and performed at many weddings, convalescent hospitals, and churches. David and Bruce later sang together in "Cornerstone 5" playing regularly at Maverick's Coffee House and for men and women recovering from addiction. David loved sharing his testimony of faith in Jesus and was overjoyed when men and women would commit their lives to the Lord during a concert. David and Bruce collaborated in writing many songs, even when they were not playing in a group together. David also loved singing in church choirs at Gateway Church of Visalia and First Baptist Church of Stockton. David was passionate about teaching others the Word of God. He loved Bible study and taught Sunday School for many years. He was a man of integrity and lived by the doctrines of Scripture and wanted others to be people of the Word. David and Jeanette loved travelling to Three Rivers and the central coast. Their greatest joy in life has been their family. David was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; his children: Traci Massey and her husband, Sean Massey, Christopher Hall and his wife, Tiffany Hall, and Heather Beck and her husband, Adam Beck; his eleven grandchildren: Michaela (Hunter) Cannistraci, Payton Stahl, Audrey (Mark) Cavagnaro, Kendall Stahl, Jacob (Grace) Hall, Ethan Beck, Ellie Beck, Trey Hall, Sawyer Beck, Avery Massey, and Riley Massey; his great-granddaughter: Arabella Cannistraci; and his sister, Janet. David passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025. His family deeply misses him but knows that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Services in care of Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel.
