David J. Hammill

David J. Hammill, age 79 formerly of Bloomfield and currently living in Wampum, PA passed peacefully at his daughter's home on Tuesday February 3, 2026; 28 years to the day of his former wife's Dianne's passing and also one day after his mom's heavenly birthday. Loving father of Kelly Hammill and Colleen (Michael) McMillen. Loving Pappy of Katrina (Sean), Kyle (Santana), Airyonna, Heidi (Lucas), Aaron, and out of love Sierra. Great-grandfather of Avaya, Nova, and out of love nine additional great grandchildren. David was the baby brother of the late George "Buddy" (late Margaret), Bernadette "Bernie"(late John), Howard "Jerry"(late Patricia) , William "Billy"(late Geraldine), Elizabeth "Betty Lou" (late Jimmy), and Mary Ethel "Joy" (late Kenny). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to whom he was known as "Hunky Dave".

Dave will be remembered as a "Jack of all Trades", a professional tinkerer and generator of laughs. During his life David as a machinist, mechanic, Real Estate Agent and Broker.

Friends and family will be received on Monday February 9, 2026, from 12-4 p.m. with a service concluding visitation at 4 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.
