David Harig Obituary
David was a 1985 graduate of Lakeview High School in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania. He attended Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania. In high school and college, David ran track and wrestled.
He was a member of 4-H and enjoyed working on many farms growing up, including his Mom and Dad's. David was the Pack Leader for Cub Scouts and prominent leader for Boy Scouts helping his sons to achieve their Eagle Scout Awards.
Following in his Dad's footsteps, David enjoyed woodworking by trade. He created many wonderful kitchens, cabinets and contributed to many projects in the Columbus and surrounding areas.
David was an avid outdoors-men passing along that love to his sons, a trait he inherited from his father. He was a devoted father who always put others before himself.
David is survived by his loving sons, Kyle and Drew and their mother, Mary Beth; brothers, Alan (Joanne), Philip, Paul; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Visit www.fergusonfuneralhomeinc.com to leave a special memory.

Harig family, so sorry to hear about your loss of a man I always cared for and heard nice stories of the boys. For me a pal and coworker for almost two decades he was a good man, I admired his love and passion for his boys and tried to give those gifts to my son. As life goes and jobs change people have changing seasons in life and lose closeness. I will always remember Dave as a friend and with kind thoughts! Boys In my heart I know your dad prepared you well!

I miss you brother. I will always remember playing football in the front yard, knocking down dead trees in the woods and generally living our childhood outdoors. I will watch out for your boys as best I can and help them whenever I can. Your big brother Alan
