David Harmon
John David Harmon, 77, husband of Donna Joann Chapman Vaughn, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 9, 2025 at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born January 13, 1948 in Greeneville, TN, he was the son of the late Johnny Harmon and Frieda Lockman Harmon. He was a U.S. National Guard veteran, retired from Timken Bearings and was a member of High Shoal Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his son, John Spencer Harmon of Greenville; sisters, Marsha Wall and Diane Lawter (Glenn) all both of Chesnee.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Barbara Spencer Harmon and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Wall.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Southside Baptist Church in Chesnee with Rev. Camden Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
Family members are at their respective homes.
