David Harrington, a beloved son, cherished brother, devoted husband, and adored father, was born on February 18, 1957 in Jefferson Davis County to John William, Sr. and Mary Kerley Harrington.  After graduating from Bassfield High School, David embarked on a career in the Information Technology industry. David's knack for technology led him to work as an IT Specialist at various esteemed companies such as Electronic Data Systems in Dallas, the Bank of Mississippi in Hattiesburg, and Bancorp South in Tupelo. Throughout his career, he displayed an unparalleled enthusiasm for his work and garnered admiration from colleagues and peers alike.

While David excelled professionally, it was his passion for family that truly defined him. He held deep-rooted values centered around love and devotion to those closest to him. Christmas and Thanksgiving were occasions that brought immense joy to his heart as it meant gathering together with loved ones. Every Sunday saw the Harrington household filled with warmth as family members came together around his dinner table. David's culinary skills were legendary among his kin, delighting everyone's taste buds with his mouthwatering Gumbo and Shrimp Boils.

Outside of work and family life, David had a zest for hobbies that brought him immense joy. He enjoyed fishing and in addition, Golfing allowed him an opportunity to unwind and connect with friends on the green. David's green thumb was something to be admired; he delighted in tending to his vegetable garden and nurturing beautiful flowers that bloomed with vibrancy.

Among David's proudest accomplishments was his involvement in the St. Peter Catholic Church Parish. In his younger years, he dedicated his time as a Lector, inspiring congregants with his readings. He also served as a Youth Leader, mentoring and guiding young individuals towards moral values and the path of righteousness. Furthermore, David taught Religion Classes, instilling in others a deep understanding of faith and spirituality.  David's memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beacon of love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, James Dennis, Gerald, Leo, Joe and Paul Harrington.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved so dearly; his wife of 45 years, Renee Stubbs Harrington of Sumrall; his daughters, Leigh Ann Harrington of Little Rock, AR, Mary Kyla Harrington of Batesville, MS, Haley Renee Harrington also of Little Rock, AR; his sister, Mary (Billy) Coulter of Bassfield; his brothers, Cahill (Patricia) Harrington of Bassfield, Kenneth (Joyce) Harrington of Bridgeport, TX and Charlie (Jan) Harrington of Bassfield.  The legacy of their Grandpa wil also live on through his grandchildren; McKenzie Crowell, Holden Crowell and Colby Hall.
