David J., Sr., age 74, on April 23, 2024, of Newtown Square, PA. The beloved husband for 56 years of Mary E. Harris (Lashinsky).
David enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening, coaching Newtown Edgemont Little League, and Broomall Newtown Babe Ruth, traveling, Happy Hour with friends and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He owned and operated DJ Harris Electrical Construction Inc., a long-time, successful contracting company.
Predeceased by his parents, Marilyn (nee Bitter), and William P. Harris and his brother Bill.
Survived by his children, Rachel Stockard (Steve), and David J. Harris, Jr., his seven grandchildren, Stephen, Ethan, Christopher, Grayce, Michael, Jaimee, and Joseph, sister Linda and brothers Timothy and Jeffrey (Diane), sister-in law Laura (George) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation Monday, May 6th 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM followed by his Life Celebration 6:00 PM in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Private.

We were next store neighbors for 15 years. Dave always waved and had a smile on his face whenever he saw me in the yard. My son when he was little aways wanted to go over and see" Mr. Hairis " ( that´s how he pronounced it. RIP Dave. Prays to Mary and family.

We have so many wonderful memories of Dave from a life time ago. High School , camping , Drexel Ale House and a Groomsman in our Wedding . Dave was always a smiling , happy go lucky fun loving guy. RIP my friend
