David Harris Obituary
David was born in Fort Valley, Georgia, on May 31, 1965, to late Grace Matthews Whatley and the late John Lester Harris. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Harris, sister, Beth Johnson, and stepmother, Lynn Greengrass Harris. David was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his loved ones. He was a huge lover of music and a talented guitarist, having played in several bands throughout his life. An avid golfer, David was a proud member of the Callier Springs Country Club. He was also a fan of Georgia Tech and a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Angelia Harris; son, Lance Baker; daughter, Emily Sherman (Michael), granddaughter, Cassidy Kimbley; sisters, Jennifer Miller (Jermaine), Becky Jones (Scott), Catherine Harding (Chris); brother-in-law, Sam Johnson, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
