David Hart Obituary
Mr. Hart passed away May 16, 2022 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hart was a native of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his enlistment, he served two tours in Vietnam and also served as a Drill Instructor. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, and the Combat Action Ribbon. Following his honorable discharge, Mr. Hart began a career as a truck driver and retired in 2017.
Mr. Hart is preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Sileo.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hart; his children, Lina Barnett, Mickey Pruitt (Chris), TJ Carter (Tad), Michelle Von Herbulis (Roger), Troy Bailey (Roblynn), and Brian Bailey (Cynthia); sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Teague; and brothers, Mike Windsor and Lee Windsor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
