David Hartz Obituary
David was an avid outdoorsman who spent many peaceful hours hunting, fishing and hiking, and just enjoying the beauty of nature. He had a special enthusiasm for history. He enjoyed watching the History Channel and reading books on history. He often spent many hours crafting WWII models. David was also a huge Pittsburgh sports fan and loved watching all of them play, especially the Penguins.
David is survived by his loving children Zachary (Megha), Taylor (Ryan) Zimmerman, and Joshua (Grace); sister Cynthia (William) Scott; brother Paul Hartz; and 3 grandchildren Elizabeth and Rosemary Hartz and Lillian Zimmerman; also many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by everyone.
Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in David's name to Washington City Mission, 84 West Wheeling Street, Washington, PA 15301.
