Obituary:
David Russell Havens was brought into the world on May 30th, 1958 and left his earthly body on June 30th, 2023. David was born in Lancaster, Ca and from there moved to Visalia where he spent his young childhood years. David graduated from Woodlake High School. David was the oldest of 4 children. He spent a lot of time running around with his siblings and making sure everyone was taken care of. Some of his favorite memories as a child were at his grandparent's house on Road 222 in Woodlake. David met the love of his life, Kendall Kay, in 1977. Their first date was Kendall's junior prom. On June 13th, 1981, the two were married at the Presbyterian Church in Exeter Ca. They spent 42 wonderful years together. They mostly resided in Tulare together, but later on migrated back to Exeter. David enjoyed very much his profession in the medical field, as he was an EMT. David enjoyed the game of golf on his free time. He enjoyed music, mostly classic rock, and he loved his animals very much. David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kendall Clark-Havens, his aunt Kathy, his brother Mark Havens, sisters Lori Scheer & Linda Thompson, his nephews Justin Nugent, Shane Scheer, Chad Havens, his nieces Jill Fitzgerald, Kelsey Nugent, Karina Scheer, his great nephews Tyler Zelenka, Maddox Nugent, Landon Castaneda, Warner Scheer, Leo Perez, his great nieces Ava Nugent, and Lola Nugent. David was predeceased by his mother, Carol Shore, father Clifford Havens, Father-In-Law Richard H. Clark, Mother-In-Law Dixie Kay Clark, his grandmother Daisy Gannaway, grandfather Blacky Gannaway, Uncle Rueben, Aunt Gladys, & Uncle Kent. Our family thanks you all for the warm thoughts and prayers during this time. David will truly be missed by many.
