David Earl Hayden, 74, of Brown County, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
David was born on September 3, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Bill and Betty (McKnight) Hayden.
David proudly served in the United States Army and later worked as a truck driver until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed going to the Regatta every year and loved camping and watching boat races with friends and family. David adored his dogs, Monster, Bella, and Diesel the puppy, and spending time with his grandkids.
David is survived by three children, Sarah (Nicholas) Long, Sautanya Hayden, and Angie Critzer, one stepdaughter, Paula Burkhart, and six grandchildren, Addyson Marie Cast, Paytyn Erica Hayden, Bentley Thomas Defibaugh, Jaxson Micheal Moore, Wyatt Lee Long, and Tiberius Kane Defibaugh.
David was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Hayden and Jesse Critzer, and his parents, Bill and Betty Hayden.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Jessen & Keller Funeral Homes ~ Whiteland Chapel with funeral service on Thursday, June 9th at 11:00am at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh, Indiana.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jessen & Keller Funeral Homes ~ Whiteland Chapel.
