TROY-
David passed in his sleep on July 12, 2022.
David was born to Ruth B. Haynes and Joseph (Shoes) Haynes on June 27, 1951. David traveled widely during his life. He was a self-proclaimed "hippie from the old days". An avid learner, at the time of his death he was reading philosophy texts and books about the origins of language. David is survived by his two sons, Aaron (Allison) and Nathaniel (Emily) Haynes; his brothers Peter (Vicki Coronel) Haynes, Mark Haynes, Matthew Haynes and Michael (Andrea) Haynes; his sisters Val Haynes, Kit Haynes and Beth (Rick Campbell) Roy. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank his good friends in Philadelphia who brought him to Troy, NY for him to get the care he needed. They are also grateful for Hospice, particularly Marsha and Stephen for the attentive care they gave David during his final days.
Cremation took place through Simple Choices, Inc. No memorial service is planned. His ashes will be spread in various places.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Hospice or their favorite charity in David' name.
