David Matthew Heber
David Matthew Heber, 42, Chisholm, Minn., formerly of Denver, Colo., died Thursday, April 17, 2025, at home in Chisholm.
He was born January 6, 1983 to Duane and Rosemary (Staples) Heber in Denver, Colo. David married his high school sweetheart Ashley Pearson on June 30, 2011. They had been together since they were teenagers. David was employed with Walmart as a store manager. He loved his work and was a dedicated employee throughout his entire 22-year career. He was involved in many charitable organizations through work, including Habitat for Humanity, Backpack Buddies, and the Children's Miracle Network to name a few. David loved sports, especially all of the Colorado Teams he grew up with.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley Heber, Chisholm, MN, children, Payton Heber, Brycelynn Heber, and Colton Heber, all of Chisholm, MN, his mother, Rosemary Heber, Denver, CO, sister, Courtney Heber, also of Denver, CO, his In-laws, Tim(Kathryn) Pearson, Two Harbors, MN, brother-in-law, Shaine (Tiffany) Pearson, Duluth, MN, sister-in-law, Amber Pearson, along with his nieces and nephews, Avry, Tessa, and Liam Pearson, and Chance Christensen. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Heber.
Funeral services for David will be 1:00 pm, Friday, April 25, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Rev. John Dietz will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at the funeral home on Friday.
