David Joe Henderhan, 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd at Aultman Hospital. Born in Louisville on February 16th, 1940, a son of the late William and Ruth (Meyers) Henderhan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Lillian, Mary Ellen Booth, Peggy, and Rudy. A kind-hearted, gentle soul whose presence brought warmth and joy to who knew him, David was loved by everyone. He was a man who found meaning in simple moments, especially those spent with his cherished grandchildren. Nothing delighted him more than their laughter. Whether he was playing games, telling stories, or simply sitting with them, his face would light up with a joy that was unmistakable. Survived by his loving partner of 36 years Candy Dorosky; daughter Kelli (Mark) Miller; 4 sons David Henderhan Jr., Ronald (Sherry) Henderhan, Mark Henderhan, Gary (Robin) Henderhan; sister Christine Rinkes; 2 brothers Bill Henderhan, Rodger Henderhan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends.
