David O. "Dave" Hintz , age 75, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, in Pulaski. Born in Antigo on May 13, 1950 to the late Wallace and Betty (Baker) Hintz. After attending Shawano High School, he went on to work for 15 plus years at the Phoenix Door Factory. He earned his GED and learned to weld. He was proud to have worked for 3D Welding Manufacturing building fire trucks. Dave was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lynn Bubolz on December 19, 1981, in Shawano and had a wonderful life together. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church in Shawano and was a kind and gentle hearted man. Dave loved being able to go outdoors, whether it was putzing on projects, squirrel hunting with his brothers, or fishing all day. He was never too far away however from his little shadow, his daughter Sarah, who joined him in all his adventures. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and being with his family. His grandchildren were his world and he loved being able to have the family over for fires and having cookouts. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend and he will be deeply missed.

Dave is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Lynn Hintz; his daughter, Sarah (Allen) Thomas; his step-children, David (Trista) Groth and Jenny Groth; his grandchildren, Rachelle Krajewski, Lindsey Krajewski, Christine Krajewski, Kate Brouhard, Kimberly Brouhard, Justin Brouhard, Ash-Lynn Teller, Kamea Teller and Jayce Teller; his many numerous great-grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Wallace and Betty, his daughter Melissa Krajewski, his siblings, Mary Bier, Junior Hintz, Douglas Hintz.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
