David W Hoagland (DW), 36, passed away unexpectedly on November 12th, 2021. David was born on February 24th, 1985, to Angie (DiCicco, Hoagland) Carbonell and David Hoagland in Indianapolis, Indiana.
David was a 2003 graduate of Emmerich Manual High School where he excelled as a pitcher for the baseball team. He then accepted a scholarship to continue playing baseball at the University of Indianapolis, which was a passion of his. David specialized in and enjoyed customizing and installing automotive audio equipment.
David is survived by his four children; Damien, Skyler, Darah and Dayson, his brother; Dustin Hoagland, his parents; Angie (Jeff) Carbonell, and David (Doreen) Hoagland, his grandparents; Anthony and Kathy DiCicco and Vie Martin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am, on Saturday, November 27th, at Indiana Funeral Care located at 2433 E Main Street in Greenwood. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on State Road 135 in Greenwood.

I loved my dad with my whole heart I just happened to be that he passed. My dad was a kind sole and loved and cared for most. I wish he was still here. I know he was struggling and was in a bad place. My dad DW/ David William Hoagland will live on in our heart. Love you.
