David Hofer, aged 93, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 26, 2025. David was born December 16, 1931 in Minneapolis to parents Max & Hildegard Hofer. He was married to Helen Teele on June 7, 1958. David's career began at Flash Radio in Minneapolis, which later became 3W Electronics where he was office manager until his retirement in September of 1998. In his free time, David enjoyed building HeathKit sets and tinkering with electronics in his home workshop. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen, sister in law Joan Hofer, children Cheryl (Kevin) Owczarek and son Jonathan (Terri) Hofer; Grandsons Marcus (Paige), Michael (Julie), Harry (Teshia), and Roland (Jessica) Owczarek; Nathan and Eric Hofer; as well as 14 great grand children, and his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother M. John Hofer, and sister Dorothy (Walt) Klemm. Visitation to be held at Washburn - McReavy funeral home in Edina on September 5 from 5:00-7:00pm. Private graveside service to be held the following day at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
