David Allen Holt, 61, of Rolling Prairie, IN, passed away on October 25, 2024 at his home, surrounded by family.
David was born on September 19, 1963, in La Porte, IN, to Doyal A. and Carol A. (Avery) Holt.
Surviving David are his children, Matthew (Tracy) Hamlin and Jessica (Ryan) Manns; brother, Danny Holt of Rolling Prairie; aunts, Nadine Dunk of La Porte and Linda (Ken) Lee of CA; many cousins; and his beloved German Shepherd.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was the owner of Holt's Mowing, Landscaping and Construction. Outside of work, he enjoyed working on and collecting cars. Those who knew David will remember him as a very generous person who was willing to always lend a hand to those needing his assistance.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a .m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the family c/o Danny Holt, 2900 Monroe Street, La Porte, IN 46350 or to the donor's choice.
