Judith C. “Judy" Mackey, age 82, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed two days after celebrating her 82nd birthday with her loved ones. She was born on January 24, 1944 the daughter of James and Helen (Kolbe) Worsfold. On February 24, 1962, she married Henry “Rooks” Mackey and together they shared over 62 years of marriage prior to Rooks passing on March 31, 2024.
Judy will be missed by four children, Kerry (Kim Anderson) Mackey of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin (Pam Milbourne) Mackey of Eastern Shore, VA, Brian (Terril) Mackey of Wawaka, IN, and Dylan (Matt) Kreager of Ligonier, IN; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Steffa, Charlene Brown, and Diette Little; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Jimmy Dale. Judy worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne were she was a Union Steward and served as the Union Recording Secretary. Eventually retiring from Lockheed Martin. She enjoyed water painting, puzzles, reading, macrame, and playing cards with friends. Judy will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
