David Homan Obituary

Our hearts are heavy and our minds are not at peace, but knowing he is in Heaven will be Our Strength...
Cowboy was born on May 1, 1960 in to parents Thomas and Barbara Richards Homan. He was a big family man and always enjoyed spending time with them. Cowboy worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor. In addition to his father, Mr. Homan was preceded in death by brothers, Gary Homan and Tommy Homan; son-in-law, Dan Barker; and grandson, Eathan Barker.
Mr. Homan is survived by his wife of 20 years, Peggy Sue Homan of the home; Children, Bobby and wife Tracy, Tammy and husband Alan, Willie and wife Debbie, John and wife Tabitha, Chrystal and husband Brad, Shannon and husband Donnie, Barbara, Jesseca and husband Steve, Nikki and husband Nick, Geri and husband Joey, Logan, and Dustin; adopted children, Crystal and Robin; 28 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; mother, Barbara Homan; siblings, Georgie and husband Steven, Barbara and husband Albert, Daniel and wife Virginia, Steve and wife Teri, and Robert; and sister-in-law, Lisa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Scotton officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty. John, Dustin, Landon, Steve, Daniel, and Robert will be serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Loflin Funeral Home.
