David Hubl

David Hubl, age 82, of Norman, Oklahoma, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1942, on a farm in Adams County, Nebraska. David graduated from Blue Hill Nebraska High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. After 35 years of service, he retired from OG&E – Transok (ENOGEX) in 1998. He then drove a Norman Public School bus for 15 years. He also worked nights at Wal-Mart. David was a member of the American Legion Post #184 for many years. He was also Leader of Boy Scout Troop #246.

David was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1974, was on Oblate of St. Benedictine for 36 years, and was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

David is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth Hubl; four sons, Albert and wife Julie, Brother George of St. Gregory Abbey, Arron, and Anton and wife Desire Joanna De Majo; one daughter, Susan Eagleson and husband Wayne; six grandchildren, Zachariah and Luke Hubl, Hailey, Scott and Ryan Eagleson, and Timothy Hubl; brother, Archie; sister-in-law, Ruth Hubl; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert F. Hubl and Caroline Hubl; and brother, LeRoy.
