Paige Hubl Obituary
November 2, 1990 - November 24, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paige Laureen Hubl on November 24, 2024. Paige was born on November 2, 1990, in Lincoln, Neb., to Gerald and Gay (Wisch) Hubl.
Paige was a loving daughter, sister, friend and a beautiful soul whose radiant smile lit up any room she entered. Her passion for the world around her was contagious, inspiring those near to her to cherish the simple beauty of everyday life. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, sports and traveling. She lived life to the fullest and made an impact on so many of those around us.
Paige was a standout athlete and Athletic Hall of Fame inductee for Lincoln Southeast and later served as head coach for the Knights Volleyball team. Paige Hubl was also an integral part of the Husker volleyball family. During her senior year, she became the co-captain and played a key role as a defensive force on the team. She was well-loved both as a coach and teammate to many.
She is survived by her mother, Gay (Wisch) Hubl; sisters, Jenna (Eric) Broulette and Stacie (Quante) Dorsey; niece and nephews, Pierce and Callen Dorsey and Braxton, Burke, and Blaize Broulette. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Gerald Hubl; grandparents, Rudy and Yvonne Hubl, and Connie Wisch; and cousin, Luke Jerosik.
Paige, a beacon of kindness and love, will forever reside in our hearts.
Visitation with family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday (12/6/24) at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street, Lincoln. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday (12/7/24) at First Presbyterian Church, 840 S 17th St. Lincoln. with a luncheon following.
