Glenda Jean Hughes Jean Goss

Glenda Jean Hughes Goss, born April 21, 1942, in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully July 29, 2025, at the age of 83.

Glenda was the daughter of Troy Lee Logan and Olga Treat Logan.

Glenda took great joy in raising her children and was a dedicated mother who focused on the individual needs of each. She loved and admired her grandchildren and the generations of little ones that continued to arrive and add to her life.

Glenda worked in several roles for many years at Trinity Baptist Church in Norman, and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department. She also volunteered at Norman Regional Hospital and served as a Board Member at McCall's Chapel School.

Glenda enjoyed time with family, traveling with close friends, garage sales and thrifting. She also enjoyed her standing coffee dates and birthday luncheons with her friends. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and making memories they will always cherish.

Glenda is survived by her children: Austin Douglas Hughes (Susie), Stuart Tracy Hughes (Cindy), Rhonda Lynne Barone (Jon), Dawna Kaye Hunter (Zach), and Shawna Diane Hughes. She is also survived by her sisters: Kathleen Lawrence, JoElla Brown (Jimmy); her brother Rollo Brasuell; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Glenda is also survived by her twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brian Russell Hughes; great grandson, Kaden Tristen Kratz; and her siblings: Roy Logan, Gary Logan, Dolly Benefield, Mary Yarbrough, and Nina Buck.
