David Hudnut Obituary
Holt, Michigan
Passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Born November 24, 1939 to Kenneth and Leona (Miller) Hudnut in Lansing, Michigan. Dave worked for the State of Michigan retiring in 1997 as a manager of the Data Processing for the Treasury Department/Department of Labor. His passions included Drag Racing where he was on the Dick LaHaie crew for many years and raced his Cobra on the Bennett-Hudnut racing team. Dave also enjoyed camping, golfing and bowling. He was an avid hunter and took annual trips to the U.P. deer hunting. Most of all, Dave loved his family. He adored his wife, children and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who remember him. Preceding him in death were his parents Kenneth and Leona Hudnut and sister, Carolyn (Charles) Burns.
Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Gail Hudnut; children, Julie (Dave) Neal, Lori (Chris) Barham, Kristine (Joe Richard) Hudnut-Richard, Roen (Ken) Stryker, Abraham (Tracie) Beatty; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Rosie Wright as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
