He was born on September 1, 1945 in Graceville, MN the son of John Carl and Emilia Augusta Elbertina (Oltman) Hulburt.
David honorably served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965 until 1968.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. David was also a hard worker and a machinist for over fifty years.
Survived by his loving wife Mary; children Jon (Sara) Hulburt of Albertville, Susan (Randy) Simonsmeier of Litchfield, and Deborah Hulburt (Eric Granados) of St. Michael; grandchildren Cassandra (Josh) Saucedo, Cody and Caitlin Neukom; Emilia and Isaac Granados; great-grandchildren Jayce and Ellie Saucedo; sisters Eileen (Allyn) Ebent and Deloris Lind; brother Craig (Jan) Hulburt; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; sisters Loretta and Alice; and by a brother Calvin.
Celebration of Life for David Hulburt will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, MN. Pastor Harry Maravelas will officiate.
Visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
