My husband and I worked with David for many years at the hospital. He was always a bright face who offered a smile and a kind gesture. We will always remember you, David. You Do have known family, your family from the old days. We will miss you, David, and that great smile. We hope you rest peacefully knowing you are remembered with love.

David worked over 30 years in the operating room at Washington Regional. He was a watchdog protector of the sterile field and his patients. He was knowledgeable, ethical and respect worthy. He loved orthopedics, good music, hot peppers, riding his bikes and brewing his own beer (as well as its consumption). He also loved his dog, Cato.
David did not evoke thoughts of unicorns and rainbows. Some have described him as a "complex personality". He was an enigmatic eccentric. I loved him like a brother whose head I often wanted to pinch off. He will be missed.
