David J Jurczyk

David J Jurczyk, age 67, of Marshfield, peacefully passed away on April 9th, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
David was born on February 23, 1957, to John D. Jurczyk and Dolores V. (Horvath) Jurczyk. He attended Homewood Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor, IL, and pursued his higher education at Prairie State University. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Deborah Lynn Tripamer, on November 10th, 1984, at Infant Jesus of Prague in Flossmoor, IL.
Having retired from full-time employment in 2018, David engaged in part-time work intermittently to maintain activity and engagement. However, his primary focus remained on cherishing moments with his family. He cherished his grandchildren dearly and devoted his time to activities such as swimming, karate, soccer, and minigolf with them. David's role as a loving husband, father, grandfather (Grumpy), brother, and beloved uncle defined his essence.
David is survived by his wife, Debbie, and sons Brian Jurczyk, and Daniel (Alexandra Linz) Jurczyk, along with their children Ella Mae and Ian. He is further survived by his siblings Thomas (Helen) Jurczyk, Mark (Laura) Jurczyk, Ken (Marybeth) Jurczyk, Jackie (Michael) Murphy, and Richard (Christine) Jurczyk. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Delores Jurczyk.
The Jurczyk family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff of the U.W. Hospital ICU for their compassionate and attentive care towards David. Their respect and dedication were sincerely appreciated.
